Utensil Crocks

These handthrown Stoneware crocks are perfect for any kitchen.  The dark blue band under the rim of each jar adds to the simplicity of these practical items.  They vary in size from 5" to 6" tall and are approximately 5" in diameter.  Each crock is bundled in it's own decorator pouch and includes a matching pot holder, some utensils and is sure to please.  By popular demand, we are now producing our crocks with our special blend red clay.

Prickly Pear Cactus Decorator Mural

Nature's Tiles

These unique and colorful tiles are a result of time, experience and love.  The initial designs were drawn over 20 years ago while living on Catalina Island.  In 2005 we were asked to bring the drawings out of a dusty drawer in the studio here in Pearce and bring them to life.  The process is of old tradition: First the drawing is made' then clay is rolled into a slab and hand carving produces the image.  Plaster facilitates the cast from clay and clay is again rolled into the plaster to produce the tile.  Following a bisque firing, the tiles are individually "painted" with glaze and kilned to cone 6 oxidation.  Some of these tiles have a metal luster to enhance the intended illusion.  Each tile is made from the original cast - one at a time.  The method is labor intensive.  The results are the wonderful fauna imagery that lasts forever.  Look for different tiles as the years go by!  Border colors may vary on these tiles.  We do not guarantee the colors exhibited.  Each tile is a 6" x 6" square.
